Huntington's Disease, a fatal, hereditary, degenerative brain disorder, has impacted my family and I am compelled to do something to help create hope for a cure. This picture I have posted is of myself, my Grandma Rosie, and my cousin. We lost Grandma Rosie two years ago, at age 74, to a lengthy battle with HD. Her fight with HD was difficult for her and my family, and if there is anything that I can do personally or that we can do as a community, to help improve the quality of life for those families and individuals that struggle with HD and to help find a cure, we should all ban together to make a difference! If you are unable to attend the walk, but would still like to help this cause, I sincerely appreciate your generosity!
