As you may already know, I am passionate about helping to change the lives of people with dyslexia...especially the children.  To see a struggling child move from not being able to read words to exclaiming, "I never thought I could read a word like that!" is all my heart needs to do something to help them be successful.

More often than not my students exclaim, "Is tutoring time over already?"  They enjoy the hard work we do because they know it is changing their lives and they want to keep working!  When a student would rather read their new chapter book than step outside their car to see the beautiful sights at Glacier National Park, and the most beautiful sight to the mom is the child reading...that's pretty impacting.

Helping people with dyslexia find the researched-based information about this learning difference and the appropriate programs to help them be successful in life is what the International Dyslexia Association is all about.  Help me support this work by sponsoring me as I walk in the Dyslexia Dash in Phoenix, AZ during the annual IDA Conference this fall.
