Thank you for your support of Lucy the last 3 years!  Our beautiful, giggly, granddaughter continues to amaze and charm us, as well as capture our hearts. She constantly defies the odds, and is proof that love and support can lead you to accomplish anything!!!

We invite you to help us celebrate Lucy and the other individuals with Down Syndrome at the annual Buddy Walk, this coming Sunday, October 19, at the Union High School Track. (Turn at the light at 66th and Mingo)

If you are interested in walking and joining "Lucy's League", you may register online at www.firstgiving.com/dsat, or just come out to the event -- registration begins at 2 p.m. and the walk at 3 p.m.  There will also be lots of fun activities for  kids including a petting zoo, jupiter jumps, clowns, crafts and free food.

Thank you for your support of Lucy and the Downs Syndrome Association of Tulsa.   95% of the money raised for the Buddy Walk goes to support the local association and the remaining amount is given to the national association for research and awareness.  DSAT uses the money to fund new parent packets, educate the medical community about Down Syndrome, distribute up-to-date literature to schools, libraries, doctors and hospitals, as well as provide support, monthly activities and scholarships for families and self-advocates to attend conferences and workshops.

With your help we can show others that individuals with Down syndrome enrich our lives and can accomplish anything if given the chance to succeed.
