When you educate a girl ...everything changes!

On November 1st I participated in the  2009 ING New York City Marathon in support  Camfed`s work in educating the girls and empowering young women in rural Africa.This was such a rewarding experience in understanding how much I care for this cause.My fundraising continues and thank you for your support throughout.

Being a woman,getting an education,I realise the difference that it makes to be able to grow into your full potential and feel your true power.I have interacted with the young women when I worked with Camfed in Zimbabwe last summer.I have witnessed the fruits of empowering these women. Seeing these ladies grow  and make a difference in their lives and in the lives of those around made a huge impact on my understanding on the value of education.These women are agents of change in the fight against poverty and they are transforming lives.
