Remember the excitement of those weeks before a new school year started? You and your siblings went shopping with Mom for school clothes and supplies…What fun it was to pick out the color of your folders, your pencil case, and your new school clothes.

On Saturday, August 11, Child Focus will take over 80 siblings living separately in foster care to a Back To School Shopping Event so they can experience the “back to school” fun and excitement like most children who live with their families every day. Each child will get to select new clothes and shoes for school. Each youth also receives a backpack full of school supplies. During the event, the children get to select books at the Book Fair, Face Painting and have family portraits taken so each child has a memento of this special day.
