John Cushing, Jr. MHA, International Programs Director of Children’s HeartLink, will be retiring this year after serving tirelessly for 21 years helping to save the lives of needy children around the world. John has been the vision and leadership behind the mission of Children’s HeartLink and has been devoted and committed to this his work for more two decades.  When thinking of what would be the perfect way to acclaim John, his life's work and something that would mean more than anything else to him - only one thing came to mind - funding a full medical mission in his  honor. Friends, family, colleagues, volunteers from around the world, please join us in our efforts to extend gratitude to John’s innovation and dedication to humanitarian outreach activities, his exemplary communication skills, his compassion, empathy and professionalism, and his endless energy he provided every day to Children’s HeartLink.
