Since 1966, Junior Achievement of Coastal South Carolina has been empowering volunteers to deliver JA's credible, targeted, and proven financial literacy curriculum to our region's elementary, middle and high schools. Passionate JA volunteers from the business community visit classrooms to empower students with the knowledge they need to be productive workers, good citizens and informed consumers - and how they can attain their dreams. Evidence based research confirms students in Kindergarten through High School are more likely to succeed in life with proper understanding of real world economics. Teachers welcome JA volunteers into their classrooms to share their powerful, primary source message: The American Dream is Alive & Well.
