Caitlin's story:

As many of you know, Caitlin was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm on February 26, 2009.  She had a very complicated and long surgery the following day.  The highly talented medical team saved Caitlin's life that day and we will always be grateful to them.  

Now for a followup:  Caitlin had a MRI in April and the doctors were "pleasantly surprised" as to how small the area shrunk to already.  She has no restrictions and has not shown any side effects what so ever.  She will need continued monitoring over at least the next 5 years,  including angiograms and MRIs.   The care and followup we have received has been so wonderful.  The skill, knowledge and compassion of the Children's hospital team has blessed our family forever.
