Chris Segal's UMPS CARE Charities Golf Marathon Page
Hello friends!
On November 11th, I will join Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball Umpires from around the country for the 2nd Annual UMPS CARE Charities 100-Hole Golf Marathon in Mesa, Arizona. This event raises funds for the UMPS CARE Charities children’s hospital and youth ticket programs.
My goal is to raise more than $2,000 for this cause and I’m writing to ask for you support. The Charity provides for the following:
- Build-A-Bear Workshop experiences for children coping with cancer and other serious illness.
- Unique baseball experiences for children awaiting adoption and at-risk youth in mentoring programs.
- Behind the scenes events to recognize efforts of youth baseball players who exhibit a high level of sportsmanship, fair play, and respect for the game of baseball.
