Support Basset Rescue in Memory of Winston Williams
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page in support of the 2010 BROOD Basset Ramble on September 5!
The Williams family has supported Basset Rescue of Old Dominion (BROOD) for over 10 years, adopting four bassets.
In memory of our much loved Winston, who passed away suddenly from cancer last August, we are dedicating our efforts this year to him. He was an important member of our pack for nine years, and his brother Gus and sisters Roxanne and Molly are raising money for BROOD in his memory for the RAMBLE.
Several hundred basset hounds will be waddling in the RAMBLE fundraiser and are quite a sight to see! They waddle to raise money for dogs like Winston who need a forever home. Some dogs have been found lost, abandoned at shelters, or given up by their owners due to economic conditions.
All donations to BROOD are used entirely to rescue and place homeless basset hounds in our area and are fully tax deductible. The hounds need your help to find their forever homes! Check out the BROOD website at www.brood-va.org for more information about the hounds and the upcoming Ramble.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who may want to support Basset Rescue. We raised over $500 last year and want to exceed that this year with your support!
