Chris Winston Supports Special Olympics Illinois
I did it!!!!
I plunged 24 times over 24 hours into Lake Michigan!!!!
Now that you have the proof, please donate!!!!
Over 11 years ago my brother David, who was a Special Olympics Illinois athlete, passed away. Since then, I have volunteered and now work for Special Olympics Illinois in memory of him.
And now, I plunged in "frickin' freezing", to quote Austion Powers, water to raise money for the over 22,000 athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.
Actually, Super Plunging......where we jumped into Lake Michigan 24 times from 2pm on Friday, February 26th through 1pm on Saturday, February 27th.
To reward your generosity, I’m joined over 5,000 people statewide who will voluntarily jump into freezing cold water in the middle of winter as we take part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunges for Special Olympics Illinois.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to the LETR Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois.
On behalf of my self and the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois, thank you.
