Cape Cod Bay Challenge 2011
Thank you for visiting Chris D'Amico's fundraising page!
Please support my participation in the Cape Cod Bay Challenge 2011. It is a 34 mile marathon stand-up paddle across Cape Cod Bay to benefit their charity, Christopher’s Haven.

Christopher's Haven is a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides housing for families who bring their child to Boston's MassGeneral Hospital for Children for cancer treatment. Mass General Hospital is one of the few places in the world to have a proton beam accelerator for use in the treatment of tumors with highly targeted radiation. Kids from around the country and world come here for treatment. One thing that doesn't get covered by insurance is the cost a family incurs for living expenses while their child is treated (typically a 6-8 week stay). Boston is an expensive city to get a hotel room in. The haven is a short walk from MGH and allows up to 6 families at a time to stay in a comfortable homelike atmosphere helping to relieve some of the strain from a very difficult time. Christophers Haven is a home for kids when cancer hits home. Please check out the embedded YouTube video on this page to get a better understanding of this wonderful organization.
Donating through the website below is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Cancer touches us all somehow....it did for our family with the loss of my young cousin Nick to brain cancer a few years ago. I will be dedicating my paddle to his memory.
Please give what you can and thank you for your support!
Chris
