It has been quite the journey these first three years of my life and my mommy and daddy say I am a true miracle.  To think I was having multiple seizures everyday when I was born and now after my hemispherectomy surgery I am now seizure free and medication free!

I hope to be an inspiration to other kids and families who might have to go through the same situation with such tough decisions to make.

My mommy and daddy say I have enough toys and stuff so they thought it would be a great idea to give donations to the Hemispherectomy Foundation.  An organization that has answered tons of question for us and has given to other families who are on the same journey or starting on the journey. 

 

We had an amazing 2010 thanks to our wonderful Hemispherectomy Angels; those who gave generously in support of the children and families that the hemi foundation serves.  

 

Donations have made it possible to start the first Medical Research Fund and to Award College Scholarships to four amazing young adults.  They helped send Hospital Care Packages to children recovering from hemispherectomy surgery and helped families travel for treatment and education.  Our Angels helped to ensure that educational pamphlets were printed and distributed to Neuroscience Centers all over the world.
