This team has been created in memory of my Grandma - Joan who we lost in July and also to honor my wonderful mother-in-law Cece and my best friend Meaghan who are both cancer survivors.

We lost my Grandma on July 8, 2008 after 9 months of fighting lung cancer that eventually metastasized.  She was so brave and so strong throughout her fight.  We love and miss her tremendously!

Cece beat down breast cancer after a lumpectomy and treatments...she has been clear now for 3 years!!

Meaghan kicked Hodgkins Lymphoma's butt after a bone marrow transplant and treatments... she has been clear now for 2 years!! 

Words can't even begin to explain how much I love and respect these amazing women for what they have gone through and the strength, courage and motivation they have.

 The money raised from this walk go towards encouraging prevention and early detection of cancer and enhancing access to vital cancer screenings and services for uninsured and underinsured women and men.
