for medical professionals, patients and their families at teaching and research centers, where attendees have an opportunity to ask prominent professionals questions
· $5,000 will enhance support group activities
for countless lupus patients and their caring others. Groups provide an outlet to learn about the impact of this disease, tips for successful living and gain support
· $2,500 will produce live interactive “Ask
the Doctor” web casts with world renowned medical professionals for lupus patients and their loved ones who may not otherwise
have access to doctors of this stature
· $1,500 will add new educational booklets
to the library addressing one of the many intricacies of having lupus and overlay diseases written in depth by the top
specialist in the world in their respective field
· $1,000 will provide outreach efforts to the medical community to educate them on the various symptoms of lupus, diagnosis of the disease and new treatment modalities

so everyone can have up to date information readily available

learning about and understanding
this disease
Any amount will help to fund research projects, which cover the gamut from developing tests for earlier and better diagnosis, to new ideas for treatments to major research projects seeking a cure.
