Its that time of the year again! TIme for me and Maggie to support the Atlanta Humane Society at the AHS Pet Parade. Per the Humane Society, it costs $300 to care for and find a home for each animal that comes into the shelter. Please help Maggie and I to reach $300 to find another Puppy a Happy Forever home.
Without support for the Humane Society, I wouldn't have been able to adopt Maggie! Any donation is appreciated! Thanks Guys!!!
Love, Christine & Maggie
Additional info:
Every year the Atlanta Humane Society helps thousands of homeless animals and pets waiting to find their forever families. In 2010, A.H.S. will provide loving care and housing to over 20,000 homeless animals, while spaying and neutering 7,000 cats and dogs in an effort to prevent pet homelessness. The average cost to find an AHS animal a new home is $300! The Atlanta Humane Society provides Georgia's only full-service charitable veterinary clinic and offers programs including adoptions, education, a community food bank, pet facilitated therapy, lost & found and a mobile adoption bus.
On Saturday, April 21, 2012 animal lovers and their pets will join together as thousands of paws walk for a cause. Pet Parade is Atlanta Humane Society's largest fundraising event and all proceeds directly benefit the shelter's homeless animals. Pet Parade participants follow a mile-and-a-half long scenic route through Piedmont Park (with or without their pets) and enjoy the special offerings of our festival, including an array of adoptable animals, vendors, games, contests, training demonstrations and displays by local rescue organizations.
