Every since Cortez and I became a working Therapy Dog team, we have become acutely aware of the importance of canines and their assistance in helping those recover from trauma, providing emotional support, and helping individuals meet their day to day needs. For the past three years, Cortez and I have participated in the Walk for Fidelco. Fidelco is the Northeast's training center for seeing-eye dogs. You can read about them here:

In the past, we have maintained our goal of earning enough money to help sponsor at least one foster puppy if not two. Every year, we have gained more support, and this year, we are hoping to break a new record of donations, $500.00. Although I will have a Shiba Inu by my side, this will still be an impressive feat if we can accomplish it.
Donations can be as small as $1 to as large as your generosity allows. And all money does go to the dogs, and helping those who can not see gain their own eyes so that they too can enjoy the world with the help of a canine friend. Even if you can not donate, I appreciate you reading my little blurb and remember as you see that amazingly well trained dog working with its person with the bond and companionship that they share.
Peace.
