Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. (RBARI) will be holding our 5th Annual Mutts Marathon on Saturday, October 10, 2009, at Shepherd Lake, Ringwood State Park - 11 am - 5 pm.  FUN FOR ALL.

Everyone who knows me - knows how much I love RBARI. I have been involved with RBARI for 17 years (11 years as the Executive Director). I am the proud pet guardian of RBARI cats and one RBARI dog. The RBARI staff & volunteers go above and beyond to help the homeless animals.

I am sponsoring a special RBARI dog - SKYE.  She came to us in March, 2009, from an inner city shelter. She would been euthanized. This sad looking 5 month old puppy - just laid in her cage in such agony. She had a horrible case of demodex mange (non-contagious) and highly treatable.  Her skin was raw, cracked, and bleeding. We took her to RBARI, started immediate treatment. Within a few days she was standing up, wagging her tail, giving kisses.  What a sight to behold. That is what makes RBARI unique.

RBARI receives no local, state, or federal funds. We need your help to continue taking care of these wonderful animals. Please help support this fun event.
