Thank you for visiting our Whisker Walk page! Last year Callie and I participated in the very first annual Whisker Walk. My goal last year was to raise $600 -- $200 for each year of Callie's life. My friends, family, and coworkers helped me beat that goal and raise $825! I came in second place for funds raised at the Whisker Walk last year. I'd love to come in first this year!

Most of you know how far Callie has come since I adopted her. Callie used to be terrified of life. I even had to carry her downstairs and outside when she needed to go to the bathroom. She used to bolt and hide under cars and shiver in fear. Now she is a brave, happy, and playful dog. Callie is the greatest dog I could ever have wished for, and I want to help save other great dogs (and cats!) so they can end up as happy as Callie is now. 

My goal this year is to raise $1,000 -- $250 for each year of Callie's life. (She just turned four years old in January!) I know it's an ambitious goal, but it means a lot to me. I truly appreciate donations of any amount. Every dollar brings me closer to my goal. While you can donate any amount you'd like, here are some numbers that might hold special significance.

$4.00 -- one dollar for each year of Callie's life.

$25.00 -- cost of my entry fee for the Whisker Walk

$40.00 -- $10 for each year of Callie's life

$100.00 -- pays for one dog or two cats to be spayed or neutered

All donations go directly to Animal Shelter Inc. of Sterling, Massachusetts, where I adopted Callie.
