Christine and Callie's Whisker Walk Page
Hi everyone!
Callie and I will be joining the 1st Annual Whisker Walk. We'll be walking to raise money for The Animal Shelter Inc. of Sterling, Massachusetts. This is the shelter from which I adopted Callie almost three years ago. I set my fundraising goal at $600 because I'd like to try to raise at least $200 for each year of Callie's life. She just turned three years old in January!
Most of you know how far Callie has come since I adopted her. Callie used to be terrified of life. I even had to carry her downstairs and outside when she needed to go to the bathroom. She used to bolt and hide under cars and shiver in fear. Now she is a brave, happy, and playful dog. Callie is the greatest dog I could ever have wished for, and I want to help save other great dogs (and cats!) so they can end up as happy as Callie is now.
