BFRR  is a 501c3 non profit organization. We exists to rescue abandoned and surrendered ferrets where they may be placed in loving forever homes while educating the community on their humane needs.

The rescue houses approximately 100 ferrets at a time: of which 40 stay with Dona at the rescue to be adopted out to loving homes, 30 that are kept at Jane's for those who need  special attention due to illness, and 30 ferrets at our sanctuary with Michelle where they will spend  their last days due to advanced illness.

The rescue runs strictly off donations, and with this many ferrets, it becomes very costly to house them.

The ultimate goal is to have a location where we may house all the ferrets, with a staff of attendants  able to care for and adopt out the ferrets much like the Humane Society. These donations will help us gain that ultimate goal.
