On Saturday, April 16, I will join many of my friends for the annual Inspiration Walk to benefit Special Olympics Howard County. I hope you will support me this year.

Special Olympics Howard County makes it possible for me to enjoy competing in my two favorite sports, Equestrian and Cross-Country Skiing. I also represent the athletes of my county as a delegate to the Athlete Congress for Special Olympics Maryland.

In case you want to know, yes, that's me in the picture, riding one of my favorite horses of all time. His name is AJ, and he is a very handsome bay thoroughbred. Musical kur is my favorite class, and I like dressage a lot, too. AJ can be a handful sometimes, but I love riding him anyway! We've had a great time together at the Special Olympics equestrian competition for the past several years.
