What I'm Doing

In January 2010, I will be traveling with fellow Clark University students to Bo, Sierra Leone on a mission to help make a sustainable impact on the maternal death rate.I will be traveling in conjunction with the the Seven Hills Global Outreach Program. We will be working with Fresh-Hope Ministries, a faith-based organization that needs help caring for orphans abandoned at birth as well as teaching midwives how to deliver more successful births. We hope to build a relationship with Fresh-Hope Ministries that will only continue to grow from here on out, giving other Clark students the opportunity to make a positive change on our world.

This trip will be an excellent opportunity for me to get firsthand experience working with Social Entrepreneurs in the field. I expect to gain a lot of knowledge from this mission, and in turn be able to lead missions of my own and institute concrete, feasible modes of change across the globe. By donating to this mission, you are inspiring a domino effect of social change.
