Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I'm sure everyone knows of at least one person whose life has been impacted in some way by cancer. For me, my father, uncle (twice & currently) and mother-in-law have battled forms of this disease, as well as several friends. I am encouraged by the V Foundation's mission and want to help them find a cure for cancer.
In May of 2010, I created a rather aggressive, long-term and personal goal of seeing a game in the home venue of each NFL, NHL, MLB and NBA team - 122 in total.
As you can see, not only is my goal of seeing these games aggressive, but so is my goal of raising $15,000. My plan is to donate $1 for every point, goal or run scored in the games I see - which is estimated to be more than $8,000 by the end of 15 years (my contributions will be made annually).
I would invite you to help me in my efforts to raise money for continued research and cure of this disease. I truly appreciate your help in any way.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Due to the fact that this is a long term goal and donations are welcome at any time, here are some fun ideas to help you come up with an amount at this time:
- $1.00 / run or pt or goal scored (1,102) = $1,102.00.
- $1.00 for every 5,000 in attendance (687,823) = $137.56.
- $1.00 for every 200 miles traveled (18,562) = $92.81.
- $10.00 for every team seen so far (23) = $230.00
- More ideas to come, but any amount is both welcomed and greatly appreciated.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
