Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!  I've been volunteering with ARFhouse Chicago since their inception, and we're holding a fundraiser on July 20th, a 15-mile bike ride and walk in the Skokie Forest Preserve.  I'll be working this event and riding in it too!  Whether you're an animal lover or simply a friend of mine, I'm here to ask for your support to a cause that is very special to me.

This dog is Scarlett, last summer I almost hit her with my car.  Before I could worry if she was friendly or not, she ran up to me, licked me and hopped in my car.  I was smitten, but my landlord wouldn't let me keep her and I had no luck finding her owners.  I knew she'd be put down at the pound.  Thankfully ARFhouse Chicago agreed to take her, and she was adopted rather quickly.   

Rescued animals have played a big part in my life.  All of my pets were found as strays, and they are all amazing.   In addition to cute puppies and purebreds, ARFhouse Chicago is unique, they also welcome dogs with disabilities, treatable illnesses, elderly dogs, and pit bulls.  Most of our animals were strays or were scheduled to be put down at other facilities, we're currently helping animals from the flooding.  Fundraisers like this are crucial to our growth and will help us continue to reduce the number of great pets that are euthanized.
