Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!  The Ride for Rescues is a 15-mile bike ride followed by a picnic.  I'm chairing the event for the shelter and I'll be volunteering at the event all day.  Help me make this a success!

I've been volunteering with animal shelters for the last 5 years, I've learned a lot and I've come across some very special cats and dogs in need of a home.  My two current cats Bella and Dexter were rescued from a Chicago alley at only 4 weeks old.  Animal rescue is a special cause for me and I hope you'll help me raise money for ARFhouse Chicago, a group I've been involved with since their inception last year.  All money raised goes directly towards caring for the animals.   We're also hoping to buy our own facility and fundraisers like this will make it possible.
