Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! Many of you know I volunteer with ARFhouse Chicago and how important animal rescue is to me. Rescued animals have played a big part in my life. All of my pets were found as strays or rescues. My current cats Dexter and Bella were found in a Chicago alley when they were only 5 weeks old. This Labor Day marks their 11th birthday! They make me smile everyday.

ARFhouse Chicago is unique, we take in all kinds of dogs, many that other shelters would turn away. This year we also have four very special cats available for adoption.  They were rescued from under an abandoned car in an alley and since they can't go to events with the dogs, we're having trouble finding them a home.  You can see their cute antics at www.strayoftheday.wordpress.com.  Valentine is featured to the right, she's a doll.  Please help spread the word to any cat-lovers.

Fundraisers like this are crucial to our growth and will help us continue to reduce the number of great pets that are euthanized. It doesn't take much to make a difference, just $25 will spay/neuter one of our animals, $50 will cover a heartworm test. Even $5 will help towards critical supplies like a microchip.
