Chupey found me in the parking lot of a restaurant in April.  He was skin and bones, covered with fleas, and nearly hairless from mange.  That's probably why he was dumped.  The vet said he looked like a chupacabra, so Chupey ended up sticking as a name.  He was only four months old.  After just 30 days of medicine, good food, and love, Chupey's hair grew back and he blossomed into a very sweet, bright-eyed, and fun dog.

Chupey is a poster boy for what adopting an animal can do for the dog and the people who adopt him.  I think he would make a most excellent El Rey Fido and would represent the San Antonio Humane Society well.
