As a supporter of the Pine Street Inn, I am writing to ask for your help in supporting a wonderful effort to raise funds during the 3rd annual Pine Street Inn knit-a-thon fundraiser on November 8th.

 

Last year’s knit-a-thon was a tremendous success. This year we are aiming to double our efforts both by the number of blankets we assemble and by the number of dollars we raise. The money raised will benefit Pine Street Inn’s Supportive Housing Program. This program provides permanent housing to women and men whose lives have been derailed by homelessness, giving them a new lease on life.  With nearly 7,000 individuals and families currently homeless in Boston, your support to help fundraise is so critical in the fight to end homelessness.

 

Your support of my knitting efforts and the Pine Street Inn truly affirms the impact we can all have in helping those less fortunate move on to a more stable and self-sufficient life. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
