As many of you know, I have been working and volunteering my way through the Atlanta non-profit community over the past few years. I have a deep passion for diversity and equity in all forms, but passion isn't enough. This past year I found an opportunity to develop a stronger and more diverse skill set to that passion in the United Way V.I.P. Training Program.
United Way V.I.P. trains people from ethnically diverse and underrepresented populations into leadership roles in nonprofit agencies by leading participants through a comprehensive 10-week nonprofit service curriculum.
By bringing ethnically diverse individuals into leadership positions, agencies enhance their understanding of the diverse needs of their clients — and become better able to meet those needs.
Today was my last day of the 10 week program, I am so pleased to have been a part of this eye opening training and would like to ensure it has a future by supporting the cause.

MY GOAL: To raise $500 for the V.I.P. Program
