In memory of: Fred Kincer

C.J. Cash's Fundraising Page

Hello Friends, Family and Community!  Thank you so much for visiting my donations page!  On Sunday, November 15th the Colts will battle the New England Patriots at Lucas Oil Stadium.  Although the game doesn't start until after 8pm the celebration and tailgate will begin early that day.  In memory of my grandfather, Fred Kincer, I will be running to the stadium from my home in Franklin (will leave by 9am and arrive downtown around 12:30 or 1pm) and the donations my run brings in will go the Huntingtons Disease Society of America and also the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  I will update this page shortly but there will be a tailgate party after the run (I will finish at Meridian and South St.) in the lot directly next to the Subway at South and Meridian. There will be a raffle drawing for MANY different FUN things...soon to be announced...so please come on out!  As I mentioned earlier I am also running in my Mother's (Sharon Cash) name and collecting for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  My mother, with the help of some great doctors, family and friends remissed quickly and has been cancer free since she was diagnosed seven years ago!  Please feel free to donate a small amount on this page and the connecting National Breast Cancer Foundation Page or simply pick one.   Click here www.firstgiving.com/cjcash1 to go to the Breast Cancer Donation Page.  Come out!!...get involved!!...have some fun!!  It's going to be a blast!  If you need to get ahold of me for specific donations such as per mile donations please call 317-695-9872. I just recently finished the mapping and total distance of the run.  It is around 23.25 miles.  Here's the map...hopefully it loads. http://www.walkjogrun.net/routes/current_route.cfm?rid=11C71879-C87B-26FF-A0C69F292738D92DThanks!

Page Update #1 (10/22/09)

*Thanks so much to everyone so far that has donated on both pages!  Things are really taking off and the word seems to be spreading quickly!  Thanks again!

*Thanks to everyone that has donated raffle items which include; The Willard, Aunt Judy's Country Kitchen, Pipe Puffer (cigars), Bob Evans, Gander Mountain, Hickory Stick Golf Course and many more to come!

*As many of you know, I recently jacked a lower disc in my back up and it is swollen and has pinched my sciatic nerve...am taking a couple of days off and will be back at it!

Page Update #2 (11-9-09)

*Hello everyone!  Thanks again to all of you that have helped out in any way with this project!  It is getting down to the nitty gritty and everthing seems to be moving very smooth.  My leg and back are healing nicely and I will be at about 85 percent for the run which will definitely put me through the finish...with a limp.

*We have had many more donations for the raffle come through...Valle Vista has donated a round of golf for four people with carts as well as Hickory Stick.  Zinc distributors has donated a beautiful Colts Plaque.  Still, one more update with many new donations for the raffle coming up...stay tuned!!!

*Also, the morning of the run, Judy's Bakery (next to Aunt Judy's Country Kitchen), thanks to the wonderful Blackburn family for all the support and help, will be opening at 7am to have breakfast (buscuits and gravy, bagels, muffins, coffee and other sweets) and a send off for the run at 9am.  Half of the proceeds from the send-off will be donated to the run's charities.  Please come out, have some breakfast and send C.J. off in style.

*As I said before...it's almost here!!!  I am so excited and anxious!  Can't wait to see all of you that morning and afternoon.  Thanks again!

 C.J.
