Claire's Chargers Fundraising Page
Hello Families and Friends,
This is Claire and, as most of you know, I have had Type 1 Diabetes for just over two years now. This is my first time doing a diabetic walk and I want to have the best time with my family, friends, and team. The organization that I am supporting is the Diabetic Youth Foundation (DYF). The Sacramento Area Families in the Forest Walk(http://www.dyf.org/FITFSACRAMENTO.html) is an annual event taking place this year at William Land Park in Sacramento on Sunday, March 29, 2009.
For all of you who do not know what the DYF is, here is some info about it. DYF provides year-round programs for children, teens and their families affected by diabetes. I have been to some camps that have been organized by DYF and they have been fun, great, etc. I am so honored and lucky to be able to go to all of these fun camps and have a good time with my friends and family.
If you want to donate or join my team that would be great! I would love to have a team because then I can have fun with my friends as well as getting to know that the people who are on my team love me and care for me as a friend or family member.
