Stephen Evans Memorial
A Perfect Way to Honor Stephen
Dec. 20, 2007
Dear Friends of Stephen Evans:
We are hoping to name a "Real Life Room" for dogs in honor of my brother Stephen in the Longmont Humane Society's new Allen Center, now under construction and expected to be complete in mid-2008.
Stephen was a great supporter of animal shelters and the cause of homeless animals, adopting three pets from shelters during his life. I think he would be pleased to know that his name would be on a feature in what will be one of the most cutting-edge shelters in the nation.
A "Real Life Room" is a larger, glassed-in area designed specially for dogs that do not do well in a more traditional kennel environment. Stephen's name and photo (perhaps with Darby!) will be prominently displayed on one of 15 such rooms in the new shelter in Longmont, just a few minutes up the road from his hometown of Boulder.
Please help us achieve this dream by giving, which will both recognize Stephen and help homeless animals.
Thank you so much!
Clay Evans
