     On November 21,2003 John C. Samra died in the line of duty. He is just one of the many officers that are killed each year. 

    The Clifton Police Department is remembering all the officers that have died in the line of  duty. We are again participating in the Police Unity Tour, a bicycle ride from Northern NJ to Washington DC. This ride is to raise awareness for the officers who have died in the line of duty.  The funds that are collected are used to support the National Law Enforcement Memorial and Museum.
