The Special Olympics is a wonderful and important organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with mental challenges (intellectual disabilities), giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Funding helps ensure that the mission of the Special Olympics can continue and I am raising money to do just that and I need YOUR help!

On Friday, September 21, 2012, I am GOING OVER THE EDGE of a 16-story building in downtown Albuqueruqe to help me improve the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and their families.

Please - go "out on a limb" to help me reach my goal of $1500.
