Azure was stabbed 7 times. Please help!
This 8 month old pit bull, Azure, was stabbed repeatedly last night by her owner's boyfriend. There was a domestic dispute between the owner and her boyfriend and she left fearing for her life. When she returned, she found Azure stabbed 7 times. The boyfriend is in jail pending charges. Dr. Wheaton of Alicia Pet Care Center & The Pet Rescue Center is treating Azure and at last word he was heading into surgery with Azure.
Azure's owner has limited funds and needs some help getting Azure the care that she needs. She is committed to her dog and wants to see her well. The visit to Urgent Care last night alone will cost close to $1500. Her treatment is expected to be close to $5k before all is done.

“We have stabilized Azure, but she has seven stab wounds and is about to go to surgery so we can explore their severity,” said Dr. Wheaton, founder, The Pet Rescue Center. “We hope she will make a full recovery. There is a strong animal rescue community here, and we’ll be working with them to ensure that Azure will be safe and taken care of.”
