COASTAL GERMAN SHEPHERD RESCUE

How can you help?

How can you help?

Dear Coastal GS Rescue adopters, supporters and friends,

We have found ourselves in a predicament. There are far too many German Shepherds that need our help and not enough funds to help them. Unfortunately, for every dog we save we need to bring in roughly $500 to cover just the basics. We continue to keep our doors open because of the very generous support from adopters and donors, just like YOU!

Can you help us today to save these German Shepherds in need? Every donation, large or small, will go directly to a fund set aside for these dogs. We have told the shelters to give us til Monday to try and raise the funds needed to bring them in and house them.

Foster homes save lives as well! Every new foster home opens up a spot in boarding for a dog in need. Fostering is a very rewarding experience and many of our foster homes tell us that they are grateful for the experience of working with a dog who knows that they were saved!

You can help today! Pledge a few dollars to save a life or offer your home as a safe haven for one of these very deserving dogs.

Here are the dogs we are trying to save this weekend (pictures are on the left column and at http://www.flickr.com/photos/coastalgsr/ ) :

Ozzie; currently at the Pasadena Humane Society, at 7 years old his days are numbered. He is a handsome lad who loves everyone.

Phitus and Spikey; currently at the East Valley Shelter, a pair who were dumped at the shelter together, 5 years old and gorgeous.

Ruby; currently at Baldwin Park, cute and just a year old! Loves all!

Chiquita; currently at Baldwin Park, black beauty with huge ears and just wants to play, very young and spirited

Mario; currently at Baldwin park, turned in by his owners who said they couldn't afford to feed him, 2 years old, gorgeous sable boy

Thor; currently at Baldwin Park, black and tan classic boy, very scared and frightened from being dumped by the only family he has known

Balto; currently at Baldwin Park, dark classic gentlemen, would love to get out of the shelter and love his live, he is young and has a full life ahead

Diego; currently at Baldwin Park, petrified and confused, he is not doing well in the shelter environment

ALL of these dogs do not deserve to die simply because of a lack of critical funds!

They are all very deserving and long to have happiness and owners who love them. Can you help us make this a reality for them? We know we can find them great homes, we just need the funds to care for them and get them vet care until permanent homes are found.
