Help our troubled threesome!
Coastal German Shepherd Rescue needs your help! We have three very deserving dogs who are in need of medical care. We commit to the very best care while our rescued dogs are with us, which often times means very expensive procedures and surgeries.
This summer we have been faced with three medical issues that need to be addressed quickly so that these very deserving dogs can be adopted into loving forever homes.
A little about our three medical cases:
Abigail came to us from a high kill county animal shelter. Her spirit was shattered but she had the will to bond again and continue on. We quickly found out that Abigail was suffering from a spinal condition that affects the nerves in her stomach and bowels. She is currently undergoing treatment and will need surgery to repair the damage.
Mable came to us with the most horrific ears we have ever seen. It looked as if two large pieces of cauliflower had been stuck inside her ears. Come to find out, Mable probably suffered from untreated ear infections her entire life. Due to the damage that has been done, Mable needs to have a total ear canal ablation. This surgery will give her relief from her suffering and she will be able to live a normal, happy life!
Scotty came to us with several broken bones. It appears that he was hit by a car and left untreated. He had a broken pelvis, femur and several injuries to very important tendons. His broken bones have healed, however the damage to his right front leg is irreparable. We have met with surgeons and the best option for Scotty is an orthotics device that Scotty will wear on his leg. This will help his leg remain in an upright position and he will be able to run and play without dragging his leg and paw.
Please help us get these three beauties on the way to recovery! They are very deserving dogs who would love nothing more than to feel good. Every dollar donated goes directly to their care. We are a non-profit rescue group and all donations are tax deductible. We hope you can help us patch up our pals!
