Meet Charles!

He is currently impounded at the North Central Animal Shelter in Los Angeles. His days are currently numbered and he needs a rescue immediately.

Unfortunately, Charles is 7 years old and therefore not highly adoptable to post people looking for a dog at a city/county animal shelter. You know how it goes, the puppies always get adopted first. Gorgeous adult dogs wait and wait while the youngsters get homes of their own. Charles has been waiting for a while and needs a miracle at this point.

Coastal German Shepherd Rescue would love to rescue Charles...but we have a couple of problems. Our foster homes are packed. We do not have any open foster slots for Charles to move into. Secondly, our boarding kennels are full and our boarding bills are high. As tough as it is to say, we simply can't afford to rescue Charles. :(

But.....with your help we just might be able to pull it off! We either need a foster home in the Southern California area or we need a sponsorship for his borading costs. At $15 a day, boarding adds up very quickly! If everyone pitched in a few bucks here or there, we could save Charles. We are looking to raise enough to cover 3 months of boarding for Charles--which should be enough time to find a foster home or an adoptive home for wonderful Charles.
