Help Coastal German Shepherd Rescue save this gorgeous long haired German Shepherd from a high kill animal shelter in Los Angeles.

We were just alerted to a one year old girl who was turned into a municipal animal shelter due to having hip dysplasia. Her family did not want to deal with her medical condition, so relinquished her to a county shelter. She is not in pain yet, but needs to have surgery sooner rather than later. This lovely girl deserves to be rescued and to find a home that will love her regardless of a medical issue. With surgery, she will be able to live a normal, healthy life. She is young enough to have a procedure called an FHO on both of her hips and would have an excellent prognosis.

We would love to rescue her and give her a change to know happiness. Unfortunately, we just do not have the funds to commit to her right now. With our recent hardship cases, our accounts are low and our vet bills rising. We are asking you--our faithful supporters--to help us put together the funds needed to rescue this striking girl. We would love nothing more than to be able to rescue her and get her hips fixed and send her off to a wonderful home. Without a rescue group committing to her, she will be euthanized at the shelter. We can not bear to see this happen.
