What does it take to make a 40+ year old mom jump into a lake in the cold weather........SPECIAL OLYMPICS...

I can't help but to be a proud mom of a special olympics athlete...my son has not only been lucky enough to participate at the local level but also the state level...he has been involved with the first 3x3 basketball team in a few years to come out of sioux city and win the state level..He is also a two time 4X100 relay gold medalist, but although he has won, my proudest moment was at district level when he came in 2nd i asked if he was disappointed and he said no, because he had all ready qualified for state in another event, that the kid that won, gets to go to state too...Now that is a true athlete...

So please help keep these olympians dreams alive...and please give...and forward this to all your friends...and family!!!!
