True Blues Fundraising Pack
The Humane Society of Broward County is the most successful animal adoption agency in the southeast United States. This past year, we placed more that 8,300 unwanted pets into loving homes. During these uncertain economic times, so many pets have been surrendered to us by their bereft family who are no longer able to care for them. The Humane Society of Broward County is an open admissions facility which welcomes all surrendered pets. We are a safe harbor for homeless pets and we are very successful in finding them, new “forever homes”.
This webpage is dedicated to the more than 500 Volunteers who sit with dogs, care for cats, help with adoptions, educate children, and increase sales in our Pet Boutique. Other volunteers care for our homeless kittens and puppies through our Foster Care Program. Our Animal Assisted Therapy Volunteers visit our community neighbors in hospitals and at our libraries where they improve the quality of the day for the adults and children they meet.
The Humane Society of Broward County could never meet the growing challenges of keeping our pets healthy and happy and finding them new families if it were not for our Volunteer task force.
Please donate and help us raise the desperately needed funds. Every year, financial challenges become increasingly burdensome. With your donation, homeless pets will always have a place to come for a second chance to be brought in to a loving family. We can't do it without your help.
Thank you for your support in helping the Humane Society of Broward County!
