Andrew Staple is a 31-year-old carrot farmer living in southern Jamaica.  He suffers from a condition called Neurofibromatosis (NF) Type 1.  NF is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow along the nerves both in and on the body.  Andrew has more than 25 tumors growing internally.  Without medical treatment, this disease will slowly ravage his body until it takes his life.

Andrew has a neurosurgeon waiting for him in New York City who has agreed to operate on him, FOR FREE.  But we must first raise $5,000 to pay for the rest of his expenses, including transportation, x-rays, and so forth.
