Colleen Brunetti's Page

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension on January 2, 2008. At that time I was having a hard time climbing a set of stairs. When I was diagnosed I was told I was lucky to still be alive.

Today I am happy to say I am doing well, responding to medications, and defying all the odds. A great deal of this is thanks to the wonderful care I get, supported by the research and advancements that have allowed for the development of effective medications, and because of the huge support of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.

I am thankful for every day.

PH is progressive and incurable. The hard truth is that I look to an uncertain future, even while maintainting a whole lot of faith and hope. Treatments and research are coming along, but PH continues to be a rare and life-threatening disease.

I am raising money to contribute to research efforts, and to help in paitent support programs - both having done so much for me. I want to give back and I want to continue to move us forward.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
