I am proud to inform you that the Shawnee Police Department had a very successful 2009 Law Enforcement Torch Run Campaign benefiting Special Olympics – Kansas. 

In 2009 the Shawnee Police Department collected donation from the Polar Bear Plunge, Police Officer Badge Campaign, and the Torch Run.  During these three fundraising efforts, our total money collected exceeded $15,000.  Without your willingness to partner with the Shawnee Police Department and generously donate to Special Olympics, I would not be able to report this resounding success to you.
