San Francisco Court Appointed Special Advocate Program
Dear Friends and Family,
In the past 10 years, we have raised money to support the fight against cancer through events I have done. I have:
- walked in two 3-Day / 60 mile breast cancer walks, and
- walked in one 2-day / 49 mile breast cancer walk.
- run a marathon (26.2 miles) in Anchorage, Alaska and
- run four Nike Women's Half Marathons (13.1 miles -each) benefitting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
- walked/run countless 5K's benefitting Susan G. Komen foundation
And while I still am active and support the fight against cancer....I am taking on another challenge.....
To support those without a voice - kids in the foster care system. I have served on the Board of Directors for CASA (short for -Court Appointed Special Advocates) in both Orange County and San Francisco County and am passionate about their mission.
The San Francisco CASA mission:
"......to train community volunteers to serve as officers of the court to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the foster care system."
"Our vision is that every child has a safe, loving home and is given the opportunity to thrive."
Doesn't every kid deserve a safe and loving home, and an opportunity to thrive?
Please join me in supporting these children with a donation of any amount. You can give once, twice or however many times you would like throughout the year to help reach this goal! Every penny counts....and helps!

"To give a child a CASA is to give them a voice. To give them a voice is to give them hope, and to give them hope is to give them the world." Pamella - a former foster child.
Please join me in this cause to help kids in our country, in our communities - let's give them a voice and a hope!
