I've joined this year's Pine Street Inn Knit-A-Thon fundraiser! I hope to be able to raise $1,500 for their Supportive Housing Program and I need your help!

About the Knit-a-Thon

The Pine Street Inn Knit-a-Thon achieves two goals: First, it raises money to benefit Pine Street Inn’s Supportive Housing Program. This program provides permanent housing to women and men whose lives have been derailed by homelessness, giving them a new lease on life.

Second, the participants knit 9” squares that are sewn together to create afghans for the Supportive Housing Program. Upon moving into their new home, each tenant receives a beautiful, unique, handmade blanket. Last year, we received thousands of squares, made 40 blankets in one day and raised nearly $20,000 to support the program.

My goal is to knit at least 25 squares and I ask that you sponsor me in this goal by pledging $1.00 for each square I successfully knit and donate.

What Your Donation Will Provide:

$1,500 fully furnishes one unit
$500 provides a dining room table, chairs and sofa
$250 buys a twin mattress and box spring
$100 provides bedroom accessories, such as sheets, comforter, alarm clock, lamp
$50 outfits an entire bathroom
$25 helps provide bathroom or kitchen accessories

The opportunity to assist these 22 formerly homeless individuals truly affirms the impact we can all have in helping those less fortunate move on to a more stable and self-sufficient life. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
