As you know, Special Olympics and the Polar Plunge are very special to me and my family. This year, the Plunge takes on additional meaning, as we lost my beautiful Grandmother, DoAnn, on September 25.

The legacy she passed on to us is to be involved, to make a difference, to help those less fortunate or vulnerable, and above all, to care and ACT in the community to give everyone hope, opportunity, and fun!

Special Olympics does just that -- gives those with disabilities the chance to participate, to compete, and to have fun and the Polar Plunge helps fund these incredible games.
