The Cape Cod Bay Challenge is a 9 hour, 30 mile paddleboard trip across Cape Cod Bay to raise money for Christopher's Haven.
Christopher's Haven is a non-profit that provides housing for families with children receiving cancer treatments at MassGeneral Hospital. During prolonged cancer treatments, many families struggle with finding lodging during their stay. Christopher's Haven is "a home for kids when cancer hits home."
Last year, my group & I trained for about 3 months for this event and we were exhausted at the finish line. (9 hours on the water is like 2+ marathons!) This year, we started training early and hope to put in 6 months of training. We have visited Christopher's Haven and it is truly a remarkable place that makes a difference to families with kids suffering from cancer.
Please join us at the finish line on August 14th in Provincetown to cheer us to the finish line and enjoy the after-party!
