Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.

We urgently need your help to raise $300,000 by March 31, 2006. Prosensa, a company out of the Netherlands, is close to developing treatments that could extend the lives of Duchenne boys. But they need funding NOW! Our total funding goal for this project is $1,100,000. We have already raised more than $800,000 but now need help for the final $300,000. Your donation will be targeted for this project and will be instrumental in bringing potential life-saving treatments to market. We have great faith and hope that you will help us reach this goal and save the lives of thousands of Duchenne boys.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too! Send this link to 2 friends. Ask them to be a sponsor and to pass it on to 2 of their friends...and so on...and so on. By doing this, you'll help get the word out about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and help raise the funds needed to find the cure. It adds up! Every pledge counts! If you are running in the marathon (or competing in any other event), do it for CureDuchenne. You can create your own personal fundraising page by selecting the icon above (right) that says "I want a page like this". Or, we can create one for you. Simply contact ellen@cureduchenne.org or call (310) 320-0873. You can also send your donation by check to: CureDuchenne 3334 East Coast Highway #157 Corona del Mar, CA 92625 (In the memo section of your check, put the initials "ew".) Both CureDuchenne and I thank you in advance for any support you can give. If you would like more information on the disease, or what we are doing, please visit our website: http://www.cureduchenne.org Best Wishes, Ellen Williams
